PATT OCHOA

Whether its low self esteem, bullying, falling grades, drug abuse, struggling with schoolwork, or self destructive behavior, I am passionate about helping teens mature into healthy and capable adults who can respect and love who they’ve become. I recognize that it’s easy for adolescents to become disconnected in today’s culture, and I have a gift for “getting through” to teens on their level. I help my clients reconnect with society - parents, teachers, friends, mentors, jobs, responsibilities, emotions, and so much more. It’s my life’s work, and there is nothing I’d rather be doing than helping adolescents heal and enjoy life.

“I was able to do what Patt does so well and makes so attractive: take my mask off and show the world who I really am... without fear of being inadequate or not enough. I am so grateful I said yes to come to that talk my friends invited me to 4 years ago and allowed Patt into my life. Patt has shown me how to live free. Patt carries a message of hope and love in all of his interactions.”

“What sets Patt apart from other skilled clinicians, I think, is his positivity, high energy, empathy, and humor. His most enduring and valuable qualities as a counselor are his ability to interrogate justifications and rationalizations in a direct but humorous way and share space with someone that, maybe for the first time, is sharing about traumatic experiences.”
